Getting paid
The split, the schedule, and what shows on a settlement record.
Checked against the product on · written for people publishing rule packs
The author keeps 80% of the revenue their packs generate. The platform keeps 20% and stands as the seller of record, so a buyer pays the platform and the platform settles to you.
| Step | What happens | When |
|---|---|---|
| Metering | Every install and every pass on your packs is recorded as a usage event. | Continuously. |
| Computation | Your share of the period’s gross is computed per pack. | At the close of the period. |
| Settlement | One transfer to your connected account, with the per-pack lines behind it. | Monthly. |
| Record | The run is written to a settlement record you can read. | With the transfer. |
- A settlement below the minimum rolls into the next period, so a small balance stays whole.
- Each run is idempotent, so a retried settlement pays once.
- The per-pack lines show gross, share, and owed for every pack you have listed.
Note. Connecting a payout account is a step you take before any money moves. Onboarding runs on the platform’s payout rails, and the platform never sees your bank credentials.
Tax records
The platform tracks what it paid you across a year and produces the reporting record that goes with it.
